Director of Client and Business Development of Element Sports
Rhyan Ruf, Director of Client and Business Development of Element Sports, has worked in professional sports her entire career. Being involved in the industry has allowed Rhyan to combine her love for the game of football, her business acumen and passion for helping people.
Throughout her college career, Rhyan served as a Public Relations representative for the Auburn Athletic Department working with the Athletic Director, Tigers Unlimited, the Alumni Association, and at various community functions. During her time, she also had the opportunity to assist the Office of University Recruitment recruiting prospective student athletes as well as provide assistance during football game days, football camps, spring games, coaches clinics, and recruiting official visits where she developed countless connections that have been instrumental throughout the course of her career.
Upon graduating, Rhyan was immediately hired by the Greenville Drive, a minor league affiliate of the Boston Red Sox where she cultivated and expanded new accounts, developed new marketing opportunities and created new philanthropic partnerships. During this time, she was approached with an opportunity by some of the connections she had made in her previous position in the athletic department at Auburn. Shortly thereafter, Rhyan accepted a position at Element Sports Group, where she is currently the Director of Client and Business Development.
Originally serving as the Client Marketing Coordinator at Element Sports, Rhyan applied a proactive method to incorporate more organic and innovative concepts for the firm and its clients through marketing and endorsement opportunities, philanthropic partnerships, media coordination, client football camps, etc.
Currently as the Director of Client and Business Development, Rhyan uses a very personalized approach for each individual client and leverages her experience and relationships to assist them day to day as well as aid in creating and managing marketing, social media, and charitable partnerships while continuously searching for new opportunities to grow. Her approach to her client’s careers on and off the field is unique, dedication to their success is unwavering and the lasting relationships she has built are invaluable, which has in turn, delivered superior results for her as well as the firm.
